Jalisco 55 Strawberry-Basil Frozen Margarita
2 oz. Strawberry Puree*
1 oz. Lime Juice
½ oz. Agave Syrup (or adjust for taste)
4-6 Basil Leaves
½ cup Ice
For Garnish: Basil Sprig and Fresh Strawberry
Combine ingredients in a blender and blend on high for 30 seconds. Pour into margarita glass and garnish with spring of basil and a fresh strawberry.
Simple at Home
1 oz. Spiritless Jalisco 55, 1 oz. tequila
*Make your own strawberry puree by blending a pound of fresh or frozen strawberries, ¼ cup of granulated sugar and 2 teaspoons of lemon juice until smooth. Store tightly sealed in the refrigerator or pop in the freezer.
