Spiritless may have been founded in 2019, but our story goes back much further than that.
For decades, we have worked with some of the biggest spirits conglomerates in the world. We learned mixology at the foot of the masters. We learned the science, the alchemy, the magic that goes into making the perfect cocktail. We learned how to throw one hell of a party.
Yet every time we entertained...
There would be a last-minute scramble to provide a non-alcoholic option that our clients, friends, neighbors and spouses would actually want to drink. Fruit juices don’t cut it. Fancy shrubs and tonics only get you so far. Club soda with lime is f*cking terrible. We started to ask ourselves: wouldn’t it be amazing for our guests to sip a special something from a gorgeous glass and feel good about it?
Yes. Yes, it would.

Like bourbon. But better.
It was from this simple premise — that you can make a cocktail that isn’t a cocktail, one that everyone can enjoy—that Spiritless was born.
Creating a non-alcoholic spirit in the birthplace of bourbon isn’t for the meek and mild. But our history of entrepreneurship, coupled with our decades of full-proof spirits experience, told us it could be done.
Our early efforts at distilling non-alcoholic spirits were mixed, at best. (If you’re picturing a PVC pipe and a popcorn machine, well, you’re not too far off.) Undaunted, we kept experimenting. Taste-testing. Tinkering.
